Melbourne Museum

Melbourne Museum is one of Australia's biggest and most loved museums.

Melbourne Museum explores life in Victoria, from our natural environment to our culture and history.

Located in Carlton Gardens (Melbourne, Australia), opposite the World Heritage Listed Royal Exhibition Building, the award-winning Melbourne Museum houses a permanent collection in eight galleries, including one just for children.

Melbourne Museum also features the Bunjilaka Aboriginal Cultural Centre and is a space for Aboriginal and non-Aboriginal people to connect with Victoria’s Koorie (south eastern Aboriginal) people.

Melbourne Museum is also home to the world's (3rd) largest screen - IMAX Melbourne Museum.

Melbourne Museum is a Museum Victoria venue.
